Tourism in Mexico is a very large industry and one of the largest in the world, it is the number one destination for foreign tourists within the Latin America region, ranking worldwide in the eighth place in terms of the international tourist arrivals, with 21.4 million visitors in 2006.

Proximity

Getting to Mexico is as simple as taking a direct flight, bus or even driving. The landscapes through the road will show some of the most diverse geographical areas in the world. From San Luis Potosi, you can take a 2 hour flight or drive 7 hours to the border of Laredo or Brownsville.

Weather

Climate varies according to the altitude and the rainfall of the region, but in central areas the weather is warm along with a bit of clouds. Temperatures average 70° F during the year.

Extreme weather rarely exists in Mexico; it is never too cold or too hot for the outdoors, except in states bordering with the U.S. or Central America. The weather in the central states is always very pleasant and sunny.
